Quality metrics

This includes the exact values that are to be measured on a certain project and the acceptable measurement, including limits and controls in terms of specific values. The values in the metrics are to be measured during the quality control process, and knowing the limits from the metrics will result to acceptable deliverable and corrective or preventive actions. This document is being created during the second step of managing construction projects.

Tips on Quality For Construction Project

You can also check approved drawing plans, architectural, structural, and all required trades. All measurements, including vertical height, horizontal, thickness, inclined, elevations, diameters, and gauges, are parts of quality metrics with direct measurement approach. It is good to bring the drawing on site and measure actual sizes as per approved drawing plan (signed and marked with FOR CONSTRUCTION) and others will bring smaller printed version (like A3 size) on site for convenience with blow up details.

Tests like compressive strength of concrete and tensile for reinforcing steel can be conducted. However, take note that when testing is being done, be sure to have an inspector or technical consultant with you to check and verify the calibration of the testing apparatus or equipment being used.

Now let’s have a recap, Quality Management have process of quality plan and from this plan, we can create and produce management plan for quality , the common term for this is the Quality management plan.
